Lack of response driving me out

First of all, I love Medium. I felt like I’d found a welcoming platform on which to post my musings. I had built up almost 300 followers in a short time, and I received many positive responses to my work. Everything was cool.

Then, as I have previously reported, last month, my earnings suddenly stopped. I received no indication as to why this had happened, nor how to remedy the issue. I have referred the matter to Medium Support on two occasions, and each time the response I received went no further than the standard ‘thanks for reaching out’ message. No help. No support. No earnings.

I’ve mentioned before that I believe the issue may be down to my lacking a Power of Attorney (PoA). According to my googling, the process for setting up a PoA in the UK takes around twenty weeks — and costs £82 ($98). If that is the reason for my earnings freeze, then if someone from Help & Support would only confirm it, then I’ll say see y’all in twenty weeks and get on with things. It’s the wall of silence that’s frustrating me.

But time waits for no man. I write every day, and for long periods, adding articles to my HubPages and submitting work to various publications. But Medium offered a great outlet for regular copy that was less time-consuming than HubPages. My most recent post on that platform was 1400 words…
