An excellent post. My disillusionment with Medium is such that I'm wondering if it's worth the effort and the five bucks a month. I've posted well over 100 original, well-written stories, but none of them has made more than a few cents.

Yet I'm constantly seeing 'how I made X in one day' type posts, where the content doesn't live up to the claim made in the title.

Maybe I should start posting such claptrap in order to do better on the platform. It wouold require a lot less effort from me.
